Total E&P Myanmar Yangon Office Roof-Top Solarization Project

Total, as a responsible energy major, is strongly committed to integrate climate in its business strategy. To contribute to Group’s commitment and to showcase high quality of Total’s solar products, Total E&P Myanmar (TEPM) implemented Roof-Top Solarization Project in Yangon Office.

The installation of 501 “SunPower” brand solar panels was started at the end of January 2020 and the whole Project completed at the end of March 2020 without any safety incident.

TEPM take pride in sharing the information that high efficiency of solar panels has been proven and generated solar power is successfully being injected into TEPM Yangon Office electricity supply starting from 7 March 2020. 

The estimated annual power generation from these panels is 304 MWh which can save 10% to 18% of total electricity consumption of TEPM Yangon Office. The estimated annual CO2 avoidance is 104 tons per annum.
