Yadana Project donates ventilators worth USD 31,500 to Yangon Region COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Coordination Committee

Yangon has entered a critical phase amidst the powerful second wave with high numbers of COVID-19 positive cases recorded since mid-September. 

To stand together with the people of Yangon, Yadana Project donated (2) intensive care unit grade mechanical ventilators worth USD 31,500 to Yangon Region COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Coordination Committee on 8th October 2020

Professor Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Vice Chairman of the Yangon Region COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Coordination Committee accepted the ventilators and presented the certificate of acknowledgement to Yadana Project operated by Total E&P Myanmar.

After proper demonstration and training being conducted for the medical professionals working at the Intensive Care Unit, the ventilators were handed over to the Department of Anesthesiology, Yangon General Hospital.
